About Me
Dr. Jennifer E. Sanders is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics and Medical Education at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She serves as the Fellowship Director for the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship, and Assistant Medical Director for the Pediatric Emergency Department. She also serves on the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Promotions Committee. Dr. Sanders was awarded the status of Master Educator from the Mount Sinai Institute for Medical Education; it’s highest recognition for leadership and scholarship in medical education. She was also induced as a faculty member into Alpha Omega Alpha, Lambda Chapter, the national medical honor society. Dr. Sanders was awarded Pediatric Emergency Medicine Attending of the Year in 2015, 2019 and 2020.
Dr. Sanders completed her Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and Residency in Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is a proud graduate of the Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
