About Me
Jennifer Walia, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at Mount Sinai. She serves as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Walia provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, with clinical interests including contraception, perimenopause and menopause, and helping patients optimize their overall health.
Dr. Walia earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College and her Bachelor of Science from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at The City College of New York. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Albany Medical Center, where she received an Award in Recognition of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology.
Dr. Walia is committed to medical education and mentorship. She has taught and supervised residents in both obstetric and gynecologic care at Mount Sinai and currently participates in the OB/GYN resident mentoring program.
