About Me
Dr. Jennifer Ng is an experienced primary care physician and board certified obesity medicine specialist. She is passionate about working with her patients to help them develop healthier lifestyles. Dr. Ng graduated from NYU School of Medicine in New York and also completed her internal medicine residency at NYU Medical Center. Besides clinical practice, she also was formerly a contributor to the Obesity Medicine Association's (OMA) treatment algorithm for adults with obesity and also formerly the chair of the OMA's outreach committee. Currently, she serves as an associate editor for Obesity Pillars, a peer reviewed journal publishing the latest evidence based medicine on obesity treatment. In recognition of her contributions and dedication to the field of obesity medicine, she has been honored with the prestigious title of Fellow of the Obesity Medicine Association (FOMA).
Upon invitation, Dr. Ng has given lectures both locally and nationally. Additionally, she also has written extensively and been interviewed on weight loss and obesity medicine. She currently works at Mount Sinai Primary Care Faculty Practice Associates both as a primary care physician and also as an obesity medicine specialist, seeing patients for weight management.
