About Me

Jenny Chang, MD (She/Her) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Chang is a clinician, researcher, and wellness advocate. Dr. Chang is currently Co-Chair of the Faculty Wellness Committee.

Dr. Chang attended the Zucker School of Medicine and completed an Emergency Medicine residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. During her residency training, she completed a CORD fellowship in Wellness Leadership and accomplished a project that focused on improving physician well-being through peer to peer recognition.

Her research focus seeks to characterize the behavioral, cognitive, and biophysiological impacts of burnout on healthcare providers. Dr. Chang is currently interested in understanding sleep patterns and sleep deficits in Emergency Medicine physicians and its impact on cognition and physical recovery using wearable devices.
