About Me
Jeremy V. Jovellanos, MD, is a Pediatric Hospitalist in the Division of Newborn Medicine at Mount Sinai West and Clinical Instructor in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Jovellanos received his medical degree from University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, and completed residency training at Flushing Hospital Medical Center.
Prior to residency, Dr. Jovellanos worked in clinical research at BronxCare Health System in the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases for the Surveillance Monitoring for Antiretroviral Therapy Toxicities (SMARTT) study in HIV-uninfected children born to HIV-infected mothers, under the Pediatric HIV/AIDS Cohort Study (PHACS).
Clinical Focus:
Dr. Jovellanos’ clinical focus is on neonatal resuscitation, hyperbilirubinemia requiring phototherapy, and the mother-infant dyad including parental anticipatory guidance.
