About Me
Dr. Kidd is a board-certified addiction psychiatrist who specializes in the intersection of sexuality, gender identity, and substance use. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kidd conducts research to understand and alleviate substance use disparities in LGBTQ+ populations and among individuals living with or at risk for HIV. As a former president of the New York County Psychiatric Society and former member of the American Psychiatric Association's Council on Addiction Psychiatry, Dr. Kidd is active in advocacy efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of people who use drugs.
