About Me
Jeremy Mudd, MD is an Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine within the Department of Medicine at Mount Sainai Hospital. Dr. Mudd received his A.B. degree from Harvard College and his M.D. from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Society. He joined Mount Sinai as faculty in 2025 after completing his residency in Internal Medicine at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center and his clinical fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Mount Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Mudd underwent additional research training as part of the NIH T32 post-doctoral fellowship in Cancer Prevention and Control at Mount Sinai. His research focuses on patient-centered health outcomes in treatment of early-stage lung cancer, as well as the development of immune-modulating preventive therapies for patients at risk of lung cancer. His clinical expertise includes the management of pulmonary nodules, pulmonary complications of lung cancer, and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), in addition to general Pulmonary medicine. Dr. Mudd serves as a member of both the Early Career Professionals Working Group and Program Committee of the Thoracic Oncology assembly of the American Thoracic Society.
