About Me
Jessie Xie, MD is an adult Gastroenterologist at Mount Sinai Doctors-Stuyvesant Town. Dr. Xie obtained his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine where he graduated with recognition from the Gold Humanism Honors Society. Dr. Xie completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where he received The SCOPY Award from the American College of Gastroenterology. He then completed his Gastroenterology fellowship at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems.
Dr. Xie sees patients with a variety of diseases including colon cancer prevention, acid reflux, GI tract motility issues, inflammatory bowel disease, eosinophilic esophagitis and more. Dr. Jesse Xie also performs a variety of procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, flexible sigmoidoscopy, trigger point injections esophageal dilations, and many others.
Dr. Jesse Xie has a special interest in obesity and food/dietary intake as it relates to GI illnesses. His objective is to provide every patient with the most up-to-date, evidence-based, patient-centered care possible with a focus on gut health. Dr. Xie is a strong advocate for shared decision making between the patient and doctor.
In his spare time, Dr. Xie is an avid hiker and enjoys exploring different cuisines.
