About Me
Jessica Kerns, MD, joined the Mount Sinai community in 2011 when she attended Icahn School of Medicine. Before arriving to Mount Sinai, Dr. Kerns attended Harvard University where she received a BA in psychology, and completed her post-baccalaureate premedical training at Columbia University. After medical school, she completed residency in pediatrics and fellowship in adolescent medicine at Cohen Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) at Northwell Health. At the Eating Disorder Center at CCMC, Dr. Kerns cared for patients with complex eating disorders in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Kerns is currently seeing patients at Adolescent-Young Adult Medicine, which is a private medical practice offering both primary care and specialized care in New York City for 9-30 year olds. Dr. Kerns provides comprehensive, evidence-based urgent and preventative care for those in good health as well as for those with complex health needs. Dr. Kerns has a special interest in treating patients with a broad range of eating disorder types and severity, and also has expertise in sexual and reproductive health.
