About Me
Jessica Reid-Adam, MD, is a Professor in the Division of Pediatric Nephrology and Hypertension and Professor of Medical Education at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She serves as Associate Director for Strategic Community Engagement in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics. She is the Pediatric Residency Program Director. Dr. Reid-Adam is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology.
Dr. Reid-Adam is a graduate of Rutgers - New Jersey Medical School and completed her Pediatric residency training as
well as a clinical and research fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology at The Mount Sinai Hospital, where her research interests
focused on transplant immunology. In addition to treating patients with renal disease and hypertension, and her involvement in the medical school, Dr. Reid-Adam serves as a peer messenger for the Committee on Professionalism in Health Care (COPHE – you can link to this page) and as a trainer in Unconscious Bias for the Mount Sinai Health System.
Nationally, Dr. Reid-Adam serves as an editorial board member on the Education Committee of the American Society of Pediatric
Nephrology and also serves in various leadership roles in the Association of Pediatric Program Directors.
