About Me
Jill Berkin, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science – Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine, at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Berkin’s areas of special interest include pre-gestational diabetes, rheumatic disease in pregnancy, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, inflammatory bowel disease, and placental insufficiency.
Dr. Berkin completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore. Dr. Berkin received her medical degree from Yeshiva University, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society in 2011.
Dr. Berkin has been published in a number of peer-reviewed journals and has presented at national conferences. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine.
