About Me
Jing Lin, MD, is an Associate Professor in the Division of Newborn Medicine in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and an attending neonatologist at Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital. His primary focus is the clinical care of newborns in the NICU. Dr. Lin travels to China throughout the year as a visiting professor to promote pediatric and perinatal care. He has helped to create a modern NICU in Yuying Children’s Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University and works with the colleagues from the Canadian Neonatal Network on a project in Shanghai to train neonatologists in China. Dr. Lin is currently working in cooperation with the Chinese Graduate Medical Education Committee (CCGME) of the China Medical Doctors Association (CMDA) and the China Medical Board (CMB) to implement organized pediatric residency training and neonatology fellowship program for all of China.

Dr. Lin and his colleagues in China have
performed an American Academy of Pediatrics-sponsored Neonatal Resuscitation
Program-related research project. Other clinical studies related to neonatal
infection, necrotizing enterocolitis, and retinopathy of prematurity are
ongoing.
