About Me

Dr. Vullo is an Assistant Professor in both the Department of Anesthesiology, Pain, and Perioperative Medicine: Division of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia and the Institute for Critical Care Medicine. He completed medical school and Anesthesiology residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He then decided to pursue further sub-specialty training in order to manage the most complex cardiothoracic surgical patients. He completed two fellowships, in Critical Care Medicine and Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Vullo has since returned to Mount Sinai Hospital to care for patients in both the operating room as their Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist and the Cardiothoracic Surgical ICU as their Intensivist.

Dr. Vullo is Board Certified in both Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is a Diplomate of the National Board of Echocardiography - Board Certified in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography. He is also proud to serve as Assistant Program Director for the Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship accredited by the ACGME.
