About Me

John Graham, MD, PhD is a board-certified endocrinologist at Mount Sinai Doctors, seeing patients Monday-Friday in Brooklyn Heights.

Trained in Chicago and New York City, he is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. After majoring in Chemistry at University of California, Santa Barbara, he was awarded his medical and doctoral degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, with his research focusing on transplant immunology in islet transplantation for treatment of type 1 diabetes. He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Rush University Medical Center.

Dr. Graham moved to New York City and completed his endocrinology fellowship at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, serving a year as chief fellow and an additional research year in type 1 diabetes. He has published his work in peer-reviewed journal articles and has presented his work at multiple international conferences including nPOD.

Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Graham enjoys spending time traveling, SCUBA diving, playing golf, and exploring the city with his wife. He is delighted to join the faculty at Mount Sinai Hospital as a full time clinical endocrinologist working at Brooklyn Heights in a team based approach.

The state of Florida requires out-of-state professionals who are registered to provide telehealth services to display a hyperlink to the Florida Department of Health telehealth web page. This allows Florida patients who are receiving medical care by telehealth to confirm the provider’s licensure and Florida registration.

Patient Experience Star Ratings and Comments

The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
