Jonathan DeAssis is a board certified Emergency Medicine physician, an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine, and a member of the Emergency Medicine Division of Simulation faculty at Mount Sinai Morningside/Mount Sinai West (MSMSW). He serves as an attending physician in the Emergency Departments at MSMSW. Dr. DeAssis completed his medical training in Long Island, graduating from the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell in 2018 and from Stony Brook University Hospital’s Emergency Medicine residency in 2021. Dr. DeAssis also completed a Simulation fellowship at MSMSW through the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2022. His Simulation interests are focused on process improvement and faculty development at lower resource institutions, as well as graduate and undergraduate medical education.
