Emergency Medicine
About Me
Dr. Jonathan W Lee began practicing as an Emergency Medicine physician in 2015 and joined Mount Sinai Doctors in 2023. After completing his undergraduate studies at SUNY Buffalo, Dr. Lee earned his medical degree from New York Medical College. He completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center. He then pursued his fellowship in International Emergency Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center while obtaining his MPH at the Mailman School of Public Health. Dr. Lee is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and his clinical scope focuses on urgent care medicine. Additionally, Dr. Lee is bilingual and can communicate with patients in both English and Korean.
Prior to joining Mount Sinai Doctors, Dr. Lee worked for several years at Mount Sinai Urgent Care. He also worked in humanitarian aid settings with various organizations such as the World Health Organization and Doctors without Borders. Dr. Lee has given several presentations and lectures on various topics related to emergency medicine. Furthermore, he was a co-author on a piece published in the Eastern Mediterranean Health Journal titled "The Development of the NCD Emergency Health Kit."
Outside of his time with patients, Dr. Lee enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and friends. A fun fact about Dr. Lee is that he grew up moving frequently between multiple states and countries. He attended kindergarten three times, went to two elementary schools, two middle schools, and three high schools but wouldn’t call anywhere else home other than New York!

Industry Relationships
Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology companies, and other outside entities to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs. In order to promote an ethical and transparent environment for conducting research, providing clinical care and teaching, Mount Sinai requires that salaried faculty inform the School of their outside financial relationships.
