Jordan Talia, MD

Kimberly and Eric J. Waldman Department of Dermatology at Mount Sinai

Dr. Talia is a board certified dermatologist with a special interest in complex medical dermatology and skin of color. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Michigan with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan followed by an internship in internal medicine at the University of California San Diego. 

He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Michigan, where he earned a teaching award for his excellence in medical student education. He then completed a fellowship in Complex Medical Dermatology where he trained at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Center. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

  • Granulatomous Disorders (Cutaneous Sarcoidosis, Granuloma Annulare)
  • Acantholytic Disorders (Darier Disease, Grover Disease, Hailey-Hailey Disease)
  • Cutaneous and Oral Lichen Planus
  • Pigmentary Disorders (Lichen Planus Pigmentosus & Erythema Dyschromicum Perstans)
  • Autoimmune Bullous Disorders (Bullous Pemphigoid, Pemphigus Vulgaris, Pemphigus Foliaceous)
  • Scarring Alopecia (Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia, Lichen Planopilaris, Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia)
