About Me

Joseph Dario, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care in the Jack and Lucy Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Dario received his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric critical care fellowship at the New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and finished a pediatric cardiac critical care fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center in D.C.

Research Interest
In addition to Dr. Darios clinical time in cardiac critical care, Dr. Dario’s research interests include quality improvement and optimizing sedation in post-op cardiac patients.
