About Me
Joyce Kim, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist at The Mount Sinai Hospital and an Assistant Professor in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Kim serves as Director of Hospitalists and Laborists as well as the Director for the Postpartum Units at the hospital.
Previously, Dr. Kim was in private practice for nearly 30 years and also served as a clinical instructor at the Icahn School of Medicine. She joined Mount Sinai as a full time Assistant Professor and OB/GYN hospitalist in 2018.
Dr. Kim received her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine. She went on to complete her residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. She has special interest in education and training and has been honored with Mount Sinai’s Excellence in Teaching Award.
Dr. Kim is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She has been recognized many times as an outstanding physician, being honored with a Patients’ Choice Award, named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor, and recognized by SuperDoctors.
