About Me
Judith Mathieu, MD,is an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Mathieu received her medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine prior to pursing pediatrics residency at Cohen Children’s Medical Center at Northwell Health. She then took on the role of Critical Care Hospitalist at Children’s Hospital of Montefiore before starting her Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at NYU Langone Medical Center. Most recently, she completed her Pediatric Intensive Care Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Clinical Focus: Dr. Mathieu specializes in perioperative care of patients with congenital heart disease and improving outcomes through cardiac arrest prevention initiatives.
Research Interests: Dr. Mathieu’s prior research focused on the incidence of renal dysfunction during staged palliation of single ventricle physiology. Her current interest lies in a collaborative approach to improving neurodevelopmental outcomes within this population.
