Julia Rousseau Spalding, PA
Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT) / Otolaryngology
About Me
Julia Spalding is a certified Physician Associate (PA-C) who sees patients as part of a team of pediatric otolaryngologists. She graduated with a Master of Science in Health Sciences for Physician Assistants from Weill Cornell Medicine in 2020. Julia earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2014. Before joining Mount Sinai, she worked as a Pediatric PA-C at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Hospital.
Julia knew she wanted to work with the pediatric population after her own experience as a long-term patient at a children’s hospital. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and education. Her favorite part about being a physician assistant is the relationship she builds with patients and their families.
In addition to treating general pediatric otolaryngology conditions, Ms. Spalding supports and provides specialized care to complex patients through Mount Sinai’s multidisciplinary Pediatric Aerodigestive Clinic and Pediatric Tracheostomy/Ventilator Clinic.

Industry Relationships
Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology companies, and other outside entities to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs. In order to promote an ethical and transparent environment for conducting research, providing clinical care and teaching, Mount Sinai requires that salaried faculty inform the School of their outside financial relationships.
Dr. SPALDING has not yet completed reporting of Industry relationships.
Mount Sinai’s faculty policies relating to faculty collaboration with industry are posted on our website. Patients may wish to ask their physician about the activities they perform for companies.
