About Me
Dr. Juliana Kennedy is an assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and at Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital. She completed her pediatric residency at NYU followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Kennedy is a pediatric gastroenterologist whose passion for the field is rooted in her deep interest in pediatric nutrition. She is committed to providing compassionate, family-centered care to allow children to thrive as they grow from infancy through adolescence.
Dr. Kennedy serves as the Director of the Inpatient Pediatric Nutrition Support Service. In collaboration with the inpatient registered dietitians, she cares for patients who have specialized nutritional needs, such as those requiring parenteral nutrition. Additionally, she is the Director of the Multidisciplinary Pediatric Celiac Disease Program, coordinating comprehensive care for children with celiac disease alongside registered dietitian, Raquela Adelsberg and in collaboration with the Adult Celiac Disease Program.
