Karen L Hammerman, MD
About Me
Dr. Hammerman is a Clinical Instructor at Mount Sinai. Dr. Hammerman received her B.A. from Barnard College in 2003 and her M.D. degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in 2007. She did a one-year surgical internship in the Department of Surgery at SUNY Downstate and two more years in the Division of Wound Healing & Regenerative Medicine in the Department of Surgery at NYU Langone School of Medicine
(2008-2010). Dr. Hammerman then completed a three year dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate in 2013. Currently, she is an Associate Dermatologist at Advanced Dermatology, PC.
Dr. Hammerman is Board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is licensed to practice medicine in New York. Dr. Hammerman practices in all areas of general dermatology, as well as skin cancer prevention and treatment and cosmetic dermatology
