Patient Experience Star Ratings and Comments

The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.

Care Provider’s Explanation

Care Provider’s Concern

Likelihood to Recommend Care Provider

Dr. Hachem was really very good. He encouraged me, never intimidated me [...] answered all questions in a direct but friendly manner, and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a nephrologist!

Dr el Hachem is extremely organized and had already reviewed everything about me on My Chart before I arrived so he was ready with answers and information. He also shared his notes with my other doctors while I was sitting in the room with him which I've never seen a doctor do before and was very happy about. He is a very good doctor.
