About Me

Katherine H. Aschheim, MD is an Instructor in the Division of Critical Care Medicine in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital. She is a hospitalist in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU).

Dr. Aschheim graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in history, and received her medical degree from New York Medical College. She then completed her pediatric residency at Columbia/New York Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. Dr. Aschheim's current research is focused on improving patient and parent experiences for children with prolonged hospitalizations.
