About Me

Kayleen A. Bailey, MD, MPH, is the Medical Director of the Jack Martin Fund Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital and is an attending physician in the Jack Martin Fund Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital’s Children’s Cancer Program in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Prior to joining the Mount Sinai faculty, Dr. Bailey received her medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine. Concurrent with her medical school training, she obtained a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in Epidemiology from the Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine. Dr. Bailey completed a General Pediatrics Internship and Residency at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore.  This was subsequently followed by a Pediatric Hematology Oncology Fellowship at the combined program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she completed an additional year in a research fellowship.

Dr. Bailey strongly emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach in the care of infants, children, adolescents and young adults with oncologic diagnoses with a particular focus on hematologic malignancies including leukemia and lymphoma.
