Kenneth M. Fifer, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Originally from Massachusetts, Dr. Fifer received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA, and subsequently completed Internal Medicine Residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY. He is board certified in Internal Medicine. He practices as a clinical supervisor for internal medicine residents at Internal Medicine Associates (IMA) and The Mount Sinai Hospital. He is fluent in Spanish and has clinical interests in diabetes, mental health, and chronic disease management.

I would recommend Dr. Fiffer to anyone that is looking for a Primary Care Physician. Dr. Fiffer is so patient, professional, and helpful. He always takes the time to explain things and answer all my questions. He never rushes me out of the office. Dr. Fiffer always address all of my medical concerns. I can always reach out to him in my chart and he would always respond immediately. I never have to wait several days to get a response like most doctors. I am happy that he is my primary care physician. I would not change him for the world.

Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology companies, and other outside entities to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs.
