About Me
Dr. Kevin Groudan is a board-certified gastroenterologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He earned his medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Massachusetts Medical School – Baystate Medical Center, where he served as Chief Gastroenterology Fellow. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and has authored numerous publications on inflammatory bowel disease, swallowing disorders, and gastrointestinal cancers.
Dr. Groudan is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and partners closely with his patients to ensure they feel informed, supported, and confident in their care decisions. He manages a wide range of digestive conditions, including acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, diarrhea, gastrointestinal bleeding, colon cancer screening and prevention, and inflammatory bowel disease, and he performs diagnostic and therapeutic upper endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures in both hospital and outpatient settings.
