Kimberly Kilby, MD

About Me
Dr. Kim Kilby, MD, MPH, FAAFP (she/her) is a family and preventive medicine physician with a leadership career spanning clinical, academic, payer and public health settings, all of which shape her unique approach to caring for her patients. Her clinical interests include nutrition, women’s health, behavioral health and chronic condition management. She is a graduate of Albany Medical College and is Board Certified in Family Medicine, Preventive Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at the University of Vermont, where she served as Chief Resident, followed by the New York State Preventive Medicine Residency. Dr. Kilby was named the 2015 Family Practice Educator of the Year by the New York State Academy of Family Physicians.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Kilby is a musical theater writer with an MA from BerkleeNYC in Writing and Design for Musical Theater. Theater has been an integral part of her life since childhood when she performed professionally on many prominent Atlanta stages. With her intersectional skills and experiences, Dr. Kilby is committed to a person-centered approach to healing while deepening the scientific understanding of the benefits of theater and music on human health.
