Kimberly Alzuphar, MD has joined the Mount Sinai Doctors-Brooklyn Heights pediatrics group, seeing patients Monday - Saturday in Brooklyn Heights.
Dr. Alzuphar received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Human Rights from Columbia University. She was awarded her medical degree from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where she pursued a scholarly concentration in Medical Education. Dr. Alzuphar completed her residency in Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She has a particular interest in early childhood development, community advocacy, adverse childhood events, and global health. Her global health research has focused on improving pediatric care in Haiti and Kenya through sustainable, community-based partnerships and iterative processes.
Kimberly lives in Brooklyn, where she enjoys Afro-Caribbean and ballroom dance, cycling and reading. She speaks French and Haitian Creole fluently.
Each month, Dr. Alzuphar hosts free Prenatal Consulations.
During this 30-minute virtual meeting, you’ll be able to virtually sit down with Pediatrician Dr. Alzuphar to discuss philosophies on parenting methods, baby's first days, breastfeeding, antibiotics, immunizations, office protocol, emergencies, communication, and anything else that comes to mind.
