Dr. Balasundaram has been faculty at Mount Sinai West since 2017. She is board certified in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. She is a general, non-invasive cardiologist who sees patients with a broad range of cardiac pathology - including, but not limited to, cardiovascular disease risk stratification in asymptomatic individuals, lipid disorders, hypertension, atrial fibrillation, heart failure and hereditary cardiomyopathies.
