About Me
Dr. Kristen Kelly is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine and serves as Assistant Medical Director of the Mount Sinai Hospital Adult Emergency Department. In this role, Dr. Kelly collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate clinical operations, quality and patient experience and has a specific focus on emergency preparedness. Additionally, she serves on the Hospital Clinical Review Committee and the GME Hospital-Based and Resident/Fellow Well-being subcommittees.
Dr. Kelly graduated from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and completed her emergency medicine residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. Prior to medical school, she worked in humanitarian aid focusing on disaster response in Latin America and responded to various disasters including the Haiti Earthquake in 2010 and Hurricane Maria in 2017, traveling to Puerto Rico during her final year of medical school to aid in the response. Dr. Kelly is fluent in Spanish.
The state of Florida requires out-of-state professionals who are registered to provide telehealth services to display a hyperlink to the Florida Department of Health telehealth web page. This allows Florida patients who are receiving medical care by telehealth to confirm the provider’s licensure and Florida registration.
