About Me
Dr. Creadore graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry in New York, New York where she was a member of two International Optometric Honor Societies (Beta Sigma Kappa and Gold Key). She completed her residency training in Ocular Disease and Cornea/Contact Lens at the University of Virginia Health System. There she gained extensive experience fitting both cosmetic and medically-necessary contact lenses, as well as providing primary eye care and advanced ocular disease management at a large university referral center.
Dr. Creadore sees patients for primary eye care examinations, diabetic eye examinations, plaquenil retinal toxicity screenings, non-surgical glaucoma management, and evaluation of red eyes, eye strain, and blurred vision. She prescribes glasses and contact lenses to treat nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), astigmatism, and presbyopia, as well contact lenses to treat aphakia, keratoconus, corneal ectasia, corneal transplant, and severe dry eye disease. She is proficient in fitting a wide array of contact lens types, including commercially-available soft lenses, custom soft lenses, rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses, scleral lenses, hybrid lenses, and custom prosthetic lenses.
