About Me
Dr. Kuhali Kundu joined Mount Sinai as OB/GYN specialist in 2018. After graduating with her medical degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Kundu completed her OB/GYN residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center, where she won the Resident Research Scholarship Award. She then moved to Emory University for her fellowship in Pelvic Surgery. With her certification by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dr. Kundu specializes in general OB/GYN services, as well as complex gynecological surgery. Dr. Kundu is passionate about providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients at all stages of their reproductive life.
In conjunction with her clinical work, Dr. Kundu serves as an Assistant Professor in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at The Icahn School of Medicine. In this role, she is actively involved in medical student and resident education, serving as a mentor and preceptor. Dr. Kundu is also a member of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists and The Society for Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics & Gynecology. She has published and contributed to numerous research articles and book chapters on a variety of topics related, but not limited, to neonatal brachial plexus injury, and rare gynecological conditions such as acute torsion of uterine remnant leiomyoma and postmenopausal endometriosis.
Dr. Kundu is bilingual and can communicate with her patients in English and Bengali.
