About Me
Lana Selitsky, MD, is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Selitsky specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology and also sees patients for family planning. She treats patients using a whole body approach and is certified as a Holistic Health Counselor by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
Her many accomplishments have been recognized throughout her career, receiving honors such as the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Medical Student Teaching Award for four consecutive years, Administrative Chief Resident from Mount Sinai Beth Israel, and the Blumenthal Senior Research Award. She has presented at professional forums, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) District II meeting, 8th European Congress on Menopause in London, and the National Reproductive Health Conference. She has co-authored, “What Factors Influence Women’s Contraceptive Decisions?”
Dr. Selitsky is a Fellow of ACOG. She earned her medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai Beth Israel.
Dr. Selitsky speaks Russian fluently. When she is not pursuing her studies in her field, she enjoys reading and horseback riding.
