She received her bachelor of science degree in Biology and Health: Science, Society, and Policy from Brandeis University and her medical degree from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her internship and residency training in Internal Medicine as part of the Primary Care Track at Lenox Hill Hospital. In her third year of training, she served as the Primary Care Track Chief Resident and won the Harry D. Fein, MD Award for compassionate patient care and clinical excellence.
