About Me

I am  a radiologist  who  graduated from Brown University where I majored in bio-ethics, receiving an undergraduate degree with honors.  I then moved to New Haven, Connecticut and the Yale University School of Medicine.  After training in Radiology at Columbia and Yale, I was in practice in Connecticut where I was Chairman of The Department of Radiology at Griffin Hospital - a patient focused Planetree Hospital.  I am now the director of breast imaging at Mount Sinai, a fellow of the American College of Radiology and was president of the New York Breast Imaging Society and was the worldwide chair of the Brown Alumni Schools Committee.

I am the author of a variety of breast imaging publications including publications relating to breast MRI, breast density and digital breast tomosynthesis (3D Mammography).  I love coming to work each day: teaching, writing and caring for patients.

I am a member of many professional organizations including the American College of Radiology where I was awarded fellowship, the Society of Breast Imaging, the American Society of Breast Diseases, the New York Breast Imaging Society, and the Radiology Society of North America.
