About Me
Dr. Le Min Lee has practiced general Hematology and Oncology with a clinical focus in breast cancer since 2018. After graduating with her medical degree from Dalhousie University School of Medicine in Nova Scotia, Dr. Lee completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She then moved to The Mount Sinai Health System for her fellowship in Hematology and Oncology. With her board certifications in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology, Dr. Lee treats breast cancer and solid tumors, such as breast, lung, and gastrointestinal cancer. She also sees patients with benign and malignant blood disorders such as anemia, coagulopathy, and chronic leukemia. Additionally, Dr. Lee is bilingual and can communicate with patients in English and Mandarin.
Before joining Mount Sinai, Dr. Lee acted as the Chair of the Breast Cancer Tumor Board at the Billings Clinic. She is an active member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Society of Hematology. Dr. Lee has also taken part in three major breast cancer research projects and has written for prestigious peer-review journals, with the most recent being a chapter on Head and Neck Cancer in Mount Sinai Expert Guides.
When discussing her time in medicine, Dr. Lee says, "My goal is to collaborate with my colleagues at The Tisch Cancer Institute and The Mount Sinai Health System to provide excellent cancer care to the local community here in Brooklyn.”
