About Me
As a board certified epileptologist Dr. Blank cares for patients with epilepsy or seizures. She has expertise in the management of persons living with epilepsy, including women's issues in epilepsy, and the evaluation of those who may be candidates for epilepsy surgery. Her research focuses on developing the epidemiologic data and tools to deliver high value care to our patients. In particular, she studies the effectiveness of current clinical guidelines, understanding why groups of patients do not receive guideline adherent care as well as designing and implementing new care models to improve epilepsy patient outcomes.
Dr. Blank joined the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2019. She obtained her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine during which time she also obtained a master's degree in public health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Blank completed her neurology residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. She then pursued an epilepsy training fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Blank offers telemedicine appointments when appropriate. Please call her office to schedule a video visit.
