About Me
Dr. Leila Hagshenas is a Board-Certified Family Physician and a graduate of the Institute for Family Health’s Downtown Residency in Urban Family Medicine. She is also an HIV Specialist (AAHIVS) and has special interests in HIV, LGBTQ+ health, and reproductive care. Dr. Hagshenas sees patients of all ages at our Family Health Center of Harlem, where she has also served as the Medical Director since 2019.

Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device and biotechnology companies to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs.
