About Me

Lesley Cohen, MSN, MPH, is a certified nurse midwife who provides full-scope midwifery services to patients at Mount Sinai West, including gynecological care, as well as antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care.

Ms. Cohen received her Master of Science in the Midwifery Program from Columbia University’s School of Nursing in 2003. She completed her Master of Public Health from Columbia University in 1998. Prior to joining Mount Sinai, Ms. Cohen served as a Certified Nurse Midwife at the Augury for Women’s Health & Midwifery in Ridgewood, New York. She also served as the Director of Midwifery at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.

In her spare time, Ms. Cohen enjoys mentoring midwifery, nurse practitioner, and medical students. She has been a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives since 2004.
