About Me
Lori Croft, MD, is the Director of the Echocardiography lab at Mount Fuster Heart Hosptial and Professor of Medicine, Cardiology, at the Icahn School of Medicine. She received her B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Biomedical engineering/Electrical engineering. She obained her medical degree from Albany Medical College and went on to complete her Internal Medicine training and fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Her expertise is in cardiovascular disease and pregnancy, echocardiography, cardiac stress testing and women’s health. She has received numerous awards from the American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology, has published over 50 peer review articles, and has been involved in the American Heart Association initiative, Go Red for Women, for the past 20 years. Dr. Croft has also been awarded the Cullman Family Award numerous times, recognizing her excellence in physician communication. She is also the recipient of awards recognizing her teaching of cardiology fellows.
