Dr. Louis Emmer has practiced Internal Medicine since 2002 and joined Mount Sinai in 2018. After graduating with his medical degree from the Israel Institute of Technology, Dr. Emmer completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Staten Island University Hospital. With his certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Emmer has a clinical interest in hospital medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Emmer is bilingual and can communicate with his patients in both English and Hebrew. He is skilled at building close relationships with his patients and is passionate about providing individualized care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Emmer enjoys spending time with his family and friends in outdoor activities.

Dr. was very attentive to mine needs.
Dr. Emmer called me several hours later as promised. He was able to have someone from Mt. Sinai speak to me and get an appointment within five days in NYC for a second opinion for hip surgery. Who does that?!!!
I like Dr. Emmer very much!
