Dr. Resende Salgado graduated Summa Cum Laude from CUNY Hunter College where he was salutatorian with a BA in Chemistry and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He received his medical degree from the New York University’s Grossman School of Medicine. He received his Master of Public Administration focusing in healthcare administration from the prestigious New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. He completed medicine internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in the Upper East Side, and radiation oncology residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He served as chief resident in the period 2019-2020. He is fluent in English, Portuguese, Italian and Spanish.
