About Me
Luis Aybar is a dedicated and patient-oriented cardiologist serving his patients in New York City and Brooklyn. Dr. Aybar is bilingual, speaking fluently in both English and Spanish. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. He is also board certified in Adult Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and interpretation of Vascular Imaging.
He obtained his medical degree in the Dominican Republic, the land of his parents, and after staying abroad teaching courses in Pharmacology, Physiology and Pathophysiology at his alma mater he completed his training in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center, where he was selected as Most Outstanding House Officer. He went on to complete his Cardiology fellowship in the same institution, where he was selected as Chief Cardiovascular Diseases Fellow.
