About Me
Luisa Misa-Solomon, MD, is an Assistant Professor of General Pediatrics in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital. Dr. Misa-Solomon is part of the Pediatric Visiting Doctors and Complex Care Program at the Cohen Center for Pediatric Comprehensive Care.
Dr. Misa-Solomon received her undergraduate degree from Ateneo de Manila University where she graduated with honors and proceeded to attend medical school at the same institution. She finished with a dual degree in Medicine and a Master’s in Business Administration. She completed her pediatric residency training at the Icahn School at Mount Sinai-Elmhurst program where she was pediatric chief resident. She then completed her Hospice and Palliative Care fellowship at Hofstra University/Northwell Health.
Dr. Misa-Solomon's interests lie in palliative care, advocacy, and quality improvement.
