About Me

Luke Janson, MD, is an Instructor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and an Attending Physician in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Queens. His clinical focus is on providing comprehensive and caring primary care services with the goal of helping patients live healthier lives. He received his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University and completed a residency in internal medicine at Northwell Health, formerly known as North Shore University Hospital – LIJ. During residency, he treated patients as part of an interdisciplinary team within a Patient-Centered Medical Home which functions to provide primary care that is comprehensive, coordinated, and focused on quality.

Dr. Janson is board certified in internal medicine and practices in Queens at Mount Sinai Doctors and at Family Health Associates. He believes patient education is essential in caring for his patients. By engaging with his patients in a meaningful way he creates long-term partnerships with the expectation of improving patient health. He values the positive impact he has on his patients’ lives as a diagnostician and in treating and preventing disease.
