About Me
Dr. Lydia Wu joined Mount Sinai in 2025 as an Family Medicine specialist. After graduating summa cum laude from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, Dr. Wu earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College. She then completed her residency in Family Medicine at Mount Sinai Downtown through The Icahn School of Medicine. With her board certification by The American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Wu cares for a wide range of conditions. She has a special clinical interest in managing acute and chronic conditions, as well as engaging patients in preventative medicine.
In her professional community, Dr. Wu is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Wu is multilingual and can communicate with her patients in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Cantonese Chinese.
When discussing her role as a physician, Dr. Wu explains, "I enjoy advocating on preventative medicine, and building long-term relationships with my patients." Outside of the office, Dr. Wu enjoys hiking and spending time with her children.

The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
