Dr. Majdoline Jayoushe is an internist at Mount Sinai Doctors, Primary Care. She completed a seven-year undergraduate program and received her medical degree from the University of Sharjah in the UAE in 2017. Afterwards, she spent a year at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine researching medical trauma affecting patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. She then went on to complete a three-year internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago in 2022.
Dr. Jayoushe is a strong advocate for patient autonomy and delivering tailored individualized care that fits a patient’s lifestyle. Having lived in different countries, she understands how valuable culturally competent healthcare is to patients’ wellbeing. She emphasizes the importance of prevention over treatment. Her clinical interests include weight management, integrative and culinary medicine. Dr. Jayoushe is fluent in both English and French. When not at work, she enjoys cooking, hiking and spending time with her cat.
