About Me
Malorie Meshkati, MD, is Assistant Professor in the Division of Newborn Medicine in the Jack and Lucy Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine and an attending neonatologist at the Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital. She also serves as the Director of Neonatal Advanced Practice Medicine Providers. In addition to clinical service in the NICU, she is dedicated to the education of medical trainees, providers and nurses in the NICU.
Dr. Meshkati received her Medical Degree from the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She completed her internship and residency in combined Medicine & Pediatrics at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She completed her fellowship in Neonatal/Perinatal at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Research Focus:
Dr. Meshkati’s clinical research has focused on stress levels of NICU parents with the aim to implement measures to reduce postpartum parental stress in the NICU. She is dedicated to continuing researching ways to improve the long-term neurodevelopmental outcomes of NICU graduates.
